Meet Kristin Payne, the newest Customer Success Manager here at Flo Recruit! I am originally from California but have lived in the Austin area for 13 years. I am super competitive in everything I do and have played sports since I was four years old. One of the coolest experiences I have had was playing soccer in college and during my Freshman year making it to the National Championship game.
My family is super important to me and I spend time with them as much as possible. There is never a dull moment with my family and you can guarantee that there will always be lots of laughter when we are together.
Since I started working I have always been in a customer facing position. For almost seven years I worked at a large financial institution in their 401k department. Companies that had their 401k with us I would help their employees with all parts of their 401k and was also a floor supervisor for escalations and was heavily involved in new hire training.
For the last two years I have been in the SAAS industry and have really enjoyed it. The first saas company I was with I was on the customer support team and handled calls, chats and tickets. In the next company I was in sales positions and was a Sales Development Rep and then moved into an Account Executive role.
My biggest motivator in my life is my son Mason. I want to be a good example for him and show him what hard work and dedication looks like. I also want to be able to provide for him a happy and stable life.
There are a couple main reasons that I decided to join Flo. One is that I have worked with Clews at a prior company and respect him and his leadership so I knew it would be a great opportunity to work for him. Another big reason is how innovative and trailblazing the company has been. The pandemic was a huge fork in the road for companies and seeing how quickly Flo pivoted and became the head of the pack in the industry with virtual offerings is exciting! It made me want to join and be part of the future growth and innovation.
Customer experience is a top priority to me and I use past personal experiences of terrible service as a reminder and motivator to not make my customers feel that way. The Golden Rule to treat others how you want to be treated is key in providing top notch service.
I have a passion for building relationships and being a problem solver. As a Customer Success Manager I get to do both of these on a daily basis and knowing that I am really making a difference to customers and making their experience better is extremely rewarding.
Family is really important to me so spending time with my family is something I do often. I also enjoy watching my son play basketball and cheering as loud as I can for him and maybe embarrassing him just a little ;) . One of my favorite things to do with my husband is go to concerts. We love country music, especially Texas county so we try to go to concerts as often as we can.
I would tell them that the people are top-notch. After being here just a few days I am blown away not only by how friendly everyone is but also how the talent of everyone is next level. You want to be a part of the big things to come and can be surrounded by people who are so smart and talented.
